Education for children in need

We support children from the neighbourhood who come from very poor families and would otherwise not have access to education. Our aim is to prevent these children from ending up on the streets.

Education

We pay their school fees and provide them with school supplies.

Family support

Through regular family visits, food packages (approximately 3 times a year), and one goat per family to support future income.

Medical care

In case of illness, we cover the medical treatment if the family is unable to afford it.

Meals

On school days, the children receive their lunch at our home.

Games and stories

Every two weeks, we offer a Saturday morning program with stories, games, and occasional lessons.

Holiday classes

During part of the school holidays, the children receive morning lessons to review and deepen their understanding of the material.

Raising awareness in society

  • to raise public awareness about the situation of street children

  • CARI-Africa considers it important to change the way street children are perceived.

  • Offering seminars on care and education.
